Thymalin is an immunomodulatory drug containing a thymic polypeptide extract for the treatment of a variety of disorders associated with immune dysfunction, viral and bacterial infections, regenerative normalisation, immunosuppression, and haematopoietic suppression following chemo- and radiotherapy. Thymalin has shown significant efficacy in the treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome and COPD, as well as in combination therapies associated with severe COVID-19 in middle-aged and elderly patients. |
