Perfluoro compounds, C5–18 (86508-42-1) are perfluoroalkyl compounds widely used in industries such as manufacturing, electronics, metallurgy, papermaking and textiles. It can serve as a working fluid or a component of a working fluid mixture in organic Rankine cycle (ORC) engines [1]. It can also be used as a stabilising side chain on the surface of fluorosilica composite particles, providing spatial stabilisation for nanoparticle dispersions in carbon dioxide [2].

PERFLUOROTRI-N-BUTYLAMINE is an inert fluid composed of a complex combination of organic compounds resulting from the distillation of electrochemically fluorinated organic compounds. It consists of branched, linear, and cyclic perfluorinated hydrocarbons having carbon numbers predominantly in the range of C5-C18 and boiling in the range of approximately 25.degree.C to 255.degree.C (77.degree.F to 491.degree.F).
