Capoamycin is an antibiotic. Capoamycin shows antimicrobial and antitumor activity[1]. | [in vivo]
Capoamycin (1.25-10 mg/kg/day, IP ) shows an antitumor activity against Ehrlich mouse ascites carcinoma. Capoamycin causes prolongation of the life spans of treated mice[1].
The LD50 for Capoamycin in mice was approximately 15 mg/kg (ip)[1].
