Fomc-Gly-Gly-Phe-Gly-OH, also known as FMOC-GGFG-OH or 2-[[(2S)-2-[[2-[[2-(9H-fluoren-9-ylmethoxycarbonylamino)acetyl]amino]acetyl]amino]-3-phenylpropanoyl]amino]acetic acid, can be used as an intermediate in the synthesis of ADC dual-drug-linker. Fomc-Gly-Gly-Phe-Gly-OH synthetic intermediate GGFGE further forms an important ADC dual-drug link assembly unit
Definition
Fomc-gly-gly-ph-gly-OH contains several functional groups. The Fmoc group is a commonly used protective group in peptide synthesis and is often used to protect N-terminal amino groups. Gly-Gly-Phe-Gly is glycyl-glycyl-phenylalanyl-glycine (GGFG) peptide which can be linked to other groups (drug) through cysteine residues. This tetrapeptide linker is protease-cleavable.
