Uses

APC 366 is a mast tryptase inhibitor, which prevents hepatic fibrosis by inhibiting collagen synthesis induced by tryptase/protease-activated receptor 2 interactions in hepatic stellate cells.

Biological Activity

Selective inhibitor of mast cell tryptase (K i = 7.1 μ M) that inhibits tryptase-induced histamine release from human tonsil and lung cells. Reduces airway inflammation and blocks postchallenge airway hyperresponsiveness in vivo .
