개요
Temafloxacin hydrochloride is a new fluoroquinolone antibacterial structurally and mechanistically related to tosufloxacin, another microbial DNA topoisomerase inhibitor introduced in 1990. It is particularly useful against beta-lactamase producing organisms and is indicated for the treatment of respiratory and urinary tract infections as well as sexually transmitted diseases, skin and soft tissue infections. The compound has high tissue penetration and is reported to have a low propensity to cause adverse effects and drug interactions.용도
