Methyl Green, Zinc chloride Salt, as a CERTISTAIN dry dye for DNA staining, it has many application: used as a tracking dye in acid buffers for electrophoresis; used to demonstrate DNA and RNA in tissues sections in the Methyl Green-Pyronin method; used as an exclusion viability stain for cells.
