Description

3,4-Dihydro-2,2-dimethyl-4-oxo-2H-1-benzopyran-6-carboxylic Acid, can be isolated from C. viscidiflorus lanceolatus along with Viscidone. It can be used for the preparation of chromanone and chromone analogues of diacylhydrazines, having insecticidal activity.
