Description
Exemestane is a third generation, irreversible steroidal aromatase inhibitor (Ki = 10.2 nM; Kinact = 26 nM) that induces aromatase degradation leading to a decrease in estrogen levels in plasma. As an androgen analog, exemestane exhibits androgenic effects and has been shown to decrease total and HDL cholesterol, apo A1, and total triglyceride levels. Marketed under the trade name Aromasin?, exemestane has been used to treat estrogen receptor-positive breast cancers in post-menopausal women.More related product prices
