PreparationBis (4 – (dimethylamino) phenyl) methanoland3-(N-ethyl-N-(3-sulfobenzyl)amino)benzenesulfonic acid reaction, oxidation and translated into sodium salt. Note: Echtsaeureviolett 10B dyes and a few products are two C.I. 42570 mixture.
Properties and Applicationsred light blue. Soluble in cold water and hot water for the purple, slightly soluble in alcohol for purple. The strong sulfuric acid to red light yellow, diluted into a green light yellow. In water solution to join sodium hydroxide heating for pink.
