以硼酸三异丙酯和3-氟-4-丙基联苯为原料合成(3-氟-4'-丙基-[1,1'-联苯]-4-基)硼酸的一般步骤如下：在配备滴液漏斗的反应容器中加入3-氟-4-丙基联苯（22.2g，0.104mol）和150mL四氢呋喃。将混合物加热至70℃，随后缓慢滴加124mL仲丁基锂溶液（1.0mol/L）。反应混合物在70℃下搅拌2小时后，滴加硼酸三异丙酯（25.3g，0.135mol）。继续搅拌2小时后，将反应混合物冷却至0℃，并缓慢滴加300mL 10%的盐酸溶液。在室温下搅拌1小时后，进行水洗以去除盐类。最终，通过浓缩和干燥处理，得到(3-氟-4'-丙基-[1,1'-联苯]-4-基)硼酸（25.7g，0.0995mol）。
