It is used in the synthesis of α - amino acids, such as the intermediate of tryptophan and Xiaotong mustard. Alkylation is one of the key reactions in the synthesis of amino acids. When the product is mixed with equal mole of benzyl chloride, tetrabutylammonium bromide, sodium iodide and powdered potassium carbonate are added, stirred at 100 ℃ for 5h, cooled, filtered, washed and dried, the yield of diethyl benzylacetylaminomalonate is 92%.
1068-90-2 (diethyl acetaminomalonate) can be used to synthesize Lincomycin U-21729A,L incomycin, Mirincarmycin and Lincomycin phosphate.
