Production method
It is formed by transesterification of methyl benzoate and propanol in the presence of sodium propanol. It is prepared by co-heating benzoyl sulfate and propanol at 90 ~ 95℃. Refining method: contains impurities such as free acids and alcohols. Wash with sodium bicarbonate or sodium carbonate solution when refining. Dry with anhydrous potassium carbonate or sodium sulfate.
