Rutin NEW

Rutin (also Rutin, Lutin, lutin, or quercetin-3-O-rutinoside) is a glycoside formed between flavonol quercetin and the disaccharide rutinoside (α-L-rhamnopyranyl -(1→6)) -β-d-glucopyranose. In Brazilian rue (Dimorphandra mollis), the synthesis of rutin is accomplished by the activity of rutin synthase.

Usage:

1. It can be used as an edible antioxidant and nutrient enhancer.

2. Rutin has vitamin P-like effect and anti-inflammatory effect, which can reduce the inflammation caused by mustard oil on the eyes or skin of animals, and has antiviral effect. At the concentration of 200 μg ·ml-1, it has the greatest inhibitory effect on vesicular stomatitis virus. It has strong antioxidant properties. Adding rutin to the homogenate rich in lysosomes can inhibit the formation of lipid peroxides. It can strongly absorb ultraviolet rays at 280 ~ 335nm, and can be used for sunscreen and whitening cosmetics.

3. It has the function of maintaining vascular resistance, reducing its permeability and reducing brittleness. It can be used to prevent cerebral hemorrhage, hypertension, retinal hemorrhage, purpura and acute hemorrhagic nephritis and other diseases.
