Et3N (13 ml_, 2.0 eq.) was added to a solution of 1g (10g, 46.95 mmol), (Boc)2O (16.4 g, 1.6 eq.) and DMAP (280 mg, 5 mol%) in DCM (200 ml_). The resulting solution was stirred at rt overnight, concentrated and the residue was purified by flash column chromatography on silica gel (10% EtOAc/hexane) to give 10 g of 1h (68%) and some recovered starting material.
