General procedure: A mixture of commercially purchased aromatic heterocyclic acid(4.00 mmol), dichlorosulfoxide (1.22 g, 10.24 mmol) and DMF (0.03 g,0.41 mmol) were heated in chloroform solution (20 mL) at 50-70 C for6 h. After the reaction was completed, the solvent was removed byvacuum drying to obtain various aromatic heterocyclic acid chlorides,which can be used directly without purification.
