A solution of compound [92] (0.25g) in acetone (10ml) was treated with concentrated sulfuric acid (0.05ml) at 0°C. The mixture was allowed to stirred for 2 hr. Reaction mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate and washed with saturated sodium carbonate solution and brine, dried over sodium sulfate and purified purified by silica gel column chromatography eluting with 2-3% MeOH:DCM to give [1040]as a light yellow solid (0.180 mg).
