24.7 kg of thionyl chloride (207 moles) are poured on the concentrate within 1 hour at 25°C under intense stirring. The reaction medium is concentrated in vacuo by limiting the temperature to 500C. This concentration operation is repeated twice after adding twice 62 L of toluene, in order to obtain a concentrate of chlorinated amide.
