Synthesis of ligand (HL).
Solution of succinic anhydride (1 mmol) in glacial acetic acid (100 mL)was mixed with a solution of 3-(triflouromethyl)benzeneamine (1 mmol) in glacial acetic acid (80 mL).The reaction mixture was magnetically stirred at room temperature for 6-8 h. The precipitates formed were filtered off and washed with distilled water (400 mL).
