4.1.2. General procedure for the synthesis of 2-aminodiphenylethers (general procedure B)
General procedure: The corresponding 2-nitrodiphenyl ether was dissolved in ethylacetate (12 mL) in a pressure vessel and then 10% Pd/C or 5% Pt/S(catalytic amount) was added. The vessel was hydrogenated at 30 psi for 1-5 h at room temperature. Then, the reaction mixture wasfiltered and volatiles were removed under reduced pressure. Inmost cases, the obtained 2-aminodiphenyl ethers were directlyused as such in the subsequent reaction without furtherpurification.
