To a 250 mL round-bottom flask was added methanol 80 mL, compound 52A (8 g, 36.3 mmol, 1.0 eq), Raney -Nickel catalyst (0.8 g) was dropped into the stirred mixture at room temperature for overnight. TLC showed the reaction was complete. The solution was filtered and concentrated to afford the title compound 52B (2 g). Yield: 29 %.
