Example 13A3-Oxo-2,8-diazaspiro[4,5]decane Hydrochloride; The title compound is obtained with quantitative yield by treating 310 mg (1.22 mmol) of 8-tert-butoxycarbonyl-3-oxo-2,8-diazaspiro[4,5]decane (for preparation see: Journal of Medicinal Chemistry (1995), 38(19), 3772-3780) with 8 ml of a 4M solution of hydrogen chloride in dioxane at RT for 2 h and then removing the volatile components on a rotary evaporator and under high vacuum.MS (ES+): m/z=155 [M+H]+.1H NMR (400 MHz, DMSO-d6): δ=1.71 (t, J=7.1 Hz, 3H), 2.13 (s, 2H), 2.95-3.11 (m, 4H), 3.09 (s, 2H), 7.60 (br. s, 1H), 8.78 (br. s, 2H).
