Compound 14.1 (100 mg, 0.51 mmol, 1.0 eq) was dissolved in HO Ac (2.0 mL). (0869) Br? (100 mg, 0.61 mmol, 1.2 eq) was added dropwise at rt. The mixture was stirred at rt for 1 h. Water was added and the solid was filtered which was washed with water to give compound 14.2 (140 mg, 81%) as yellow solid.
