A14.1 1. Preparation of 2-Cyclobutylethanol (18-2)
At room temperature, LiAlH 4 (133 mg, 3.50 mmol) was added in portions into the mixture of 18-1 (200 mg, 1.75 mmol) in THF (10 mL) at the rate of 1 mmol/min, then the mixture was reacted at this temperature for 2 hrs. The reaction was quenched with Na 2SO 4.10H 2O and filtered, the filtrate was concentrated under reduced pressure to give compound 18-2 (120 mg, yield 68%) as colorless oil. ESI[M+H] +=100.1.
