1 Synthesis Example 1. Synthesis of Compound A1
Pyridine-2-carbaldehyde (10 mmol) and o-methylaniline (1.1 eq) were mixed and dissolved in toluene, and a catalytic amount of p-toluenesulfonic acid was added thereto, and heated to reflux to separate water for 5 hours. The reaction was completed, and the reaction solution was concentrated and passed through a column layer. The fraction was isolated to give 1.5 g of Intermediate M1, yield 77.3%.
