Yield:55234-58-7 80.3%

Reaction Conditions:

with trifluoroacetic acid in dichloromethane at 20;

Steps:

3 step 3: Synthesis of 3-aminopyridinecarbaldehyde
Add the compound (2-formylpyridin-3-yl) tert-butyl carbamate (25 g, 0.11mol), 240 mL of dichloromethane to a 500 mL single-neck flask,Trifluoroacetic acid 60 mL, stirred at room temperature and reacted overnight. After the reaction was monitored by TLC, sodium carbonate solution was added to adjust the pH to about 8, and the organic phase was separated. The aqueous phase was extracted with dichloromethane (200 mL×3). The organic phases were combined and dried to obtain the compound 3-aminopyridinecarboxaldehyde (11 g, 80.3%).
