Stage #2: with acetic acid in methanol;water;

A mixture of compound 0111 (2.0 g, 5.4 mmol) and LiOH H2O (0.75 g, 17.9 mmol) in methanol (100 ml) and H2O (100 ml) was stirred at room temperature for 0.5 hour. The mixture was neutralized by addition of dilution acetic acid. The precipitate was isolated and dried to give the title compound 0112 as a grey solid (1.52g, 96%): LCMS: m/z 292[M+1]+; 1H NMR(DMSO) δ 3.17 (s, IH), 3.98 (s, 3H), 7.18 (d, IH), 7.21 (s, IH), 7.37 (t, IH), 7.80 (s, IH), 7.90 (d, IH), 8.04 (m, IH), 8.47 (s,lH), 9.41 (s, IH), 9.68 (bs, IH).
