Steps:

General procedure for the synthesis of1-(3,5-bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl)-3-thiourea derivatives 11,12, 14 and 15

General procedure: The appropriate amine (1.0 mmol) was dissolved in dry DCM (2 mL) under nitrogen. The solution was cooled on an ice-bath for 10minutes. 3,5-Bis(trifluoromethyl)phenyl isothiocyante (183 mL,1.0 mmol) was added slowly to the solution. The reaction mixture was allowed towarm to room temperature and was stirred overnight at this temperature. The solvent was removed under reduced pressure and the product purified by column chromatography on silica gel.
