N-BOC-piperidine-2-carboxylic acid methyl ester (10.0 g, 41.15 mmol) and iodomethane (16.2 g, 123.4 mmol) were added to tetrahydrofuran (60 mL),After cooling to 0°C, a tetrahydrofuran solution of lithium diisopropylamide (2M, 61.7 mL, 123.4 mmol) was added dropwise.After stirring for 3 hours, the reaction solution was poured into saturated ammonium chloride solution, extracted with ethyl acetate, the organic phase was concentrated, and purified by column chromatography (petroleum ether/ethyl acetate=20/1) to obtain the title compound (10.0 g, 95 %)
