A solution of 5-bromo-1,3,4-thiadiazole-2-amine (20 mg), potassium carbonate (20 mg), and pyrrolidine (20 μL) in 1,4-dioxane (1 mL) was stirred at 100° C. for 30 minutes using a microwave reaction apparatus.
Water was added to the reaction mixture, the solid matter was collected by filtration, and the obtained residue was purified by silica gel column chromatography (chloroform-methanol, NH silica), thereby obtaining 2-amino-5-(1-pyrrolidinyl)-1,3,4-thiadiazole (10 mg).
1H-NMR (DMSO-d6) δ: 6.27 (2H, s), 3.30-3.23 (4H, m), 1.93-1.88 (4H, m).
