30.2 Step 2: Preparation of N'-[(6-chloropyrazin-2-yl)amino]-N,N-dimethyl-formamidine
To a solution of (6-chloropyrazin-2-yl)hydrazine (2 g) in toluene (40 mL) was added N,N- dimethylformamide dimethyl acetal (3.66 g) and the mixture was heated at 80°C for 2 hours. The reaction mass was concentrated and dried under vacuum to give N'-[(6-chloropyrazin-2-yl)amino]-N,N- dimethyl-formamidine. LCMS: 200 (M+H), Retention time 0.17 min
