General procedure: The solution of the corresponding aliphatic or heteroaromatic amine (1 equiv.) and triethylamine (2 equiv.) in dry dichloromethane was cooled to 0-4°C on an ice bath, and chloroacetyl chloride (1.3 equiv.) was added slowly. The reaction mixture was stirred for 120min. The volatiles were removed under reduced pressure to give the crude product, which was further purified by silica gel column chromatography.
