2.4. General procedure for the synthesis of 1,4-diketones
General procedure: OMS-2 (12 mg, 0.015 mmol, 5 mol%), α-iodoacetophenone (0.3 mmol), 1,3-dicarbonyl compound (0.3 mmol), EtOH (1 mL) were added to a flask with a stirring bar. The mixture was stirred at 70 °C for 12 h under air. After cooling to room temperature, the mixture was diluted with ethyl acetate and filtered. The filtrate was removed under reduced pressure to get the crude product, which was further purified by silica gel chromatography to yield corresponding product.
