General procedure: Tert-butyl 2-(4-(methoxycarbonyl)phenyl)pyrrolidine-1-carboxylate (500mg, 1.64mmol) was dissolved in 10mL 4M HCl dioxane solution. The mixture was stirred at room temperature for 2h and concentrated to obtain 395mg, yield: 100%.
