Steps:

General procedure: To a mixture of amine (1 eq.) and TEA (1.2 eq.) in dry THF was added chloroacetyl chloride (1.1 eq.) dropwise at 0°C. After completion of reaction, triethylammonium chloride was filtered off and the filtrate was concentrated under vacuum and quenched with water. The solid obtained was filtered at suction and washed to neutral filtrate, air dried and used without any further purification.
