(R,S)-Amlodipine (100.00g, 244.6mmol) was dissolved in a mixed solvent of N,N-dimethylformamide and purified water (V_DMF: V_water= 7:1, 900 mL), and filtered Insoluble impurities were removed. According to HPLC purity test, the one with t_R=12.023min is levamlodipine besylate with a purity of 99.44percent, t_R=7.750min Impurity D is 0.49percent; the optical purity detected by HPLC is 99.55percent.
