This product was dissolved in dichloromethane (10 mL) and TFA (3 mL) was added. The reaction mixture was stirred at rt. for 4 hr. The TFA and solvent were then evaporated to give a the TFA salt of the title product as a brown solid,(530 mg, 90% yield). MS m/z 168(MH+), Retention time: 0.283 min. 1H NMR (300 MHz, MeOD) ? ppm 4.18 (d, J=11.71 Hz, 2 H) 4.51 (d, J=11.71 Hz, 2 H) 7.13-7.25 (m, 2 H) 7.53-7.63 (m, 2 H).
