글루코노텔타락톤 C화학적 특성, 용도, 생산

순도시험

  (1) 용상 : 이 품목 1g을 물 10mL에 녹일 때, 그 액은 무색으로서 탁도는 거의 징명 이하이어야 한다.

  (2) 염화물 : 이 품목 0.5g을 취하여 염화물시험법에 따라 시험할 때, 그 양은 0.01N 염산 0.5mL에 대응하는 양 이하이어야 한다.

  (3) 황산염 : 이 품목 1g을 취하여 황산염시험법에 따라 시험할 때, 그 양은 0.01N 황산 0.5mL에 대응하는 양 이하이어야 한다.

  (4) 비소 : 이 품목을 비소시험법에 따라 시험할 때, 그 양은 4.0ppm 이하이어야 한다.

  (5) 납 : 이 품목 5.0g을 취하여 원자흡광광도법 또는 유도결합플라즈마발광광도법에 따라 시험할 때, 그 양은 2.0ppm 이하이어야 한다.

  (6) 자당 또는 환원당 : 이 품목 0.5g에 물 10mL 및 묽은염산 2mL를 가하여 2분간 끓이고 식힌 다음 탄산나트륨시액 5mL를 가하여 4분간 방치한 다음 물을 가하여 20mL로 하고 그 액 5mL에 펠링시액 2mL를 가하여 1분간 끓일 때, 즉시 등황～적색의 침전이 생겨서는 아니 된다.

확인시험

  (1) 이 품목의 수용액(1→50)은 산성이다.

  (2) 이 품목의 수용액(1→10) 1mL에 염화제이철시액 1방울을 가할 때, 진한 황색을 나타낸다.

  (3) 이 품목의 수용액(1→10) 5mL에 빙초산 0.7mL 및 새로 증류한 페닐히드라진 1mL를 가하여 수욕상에서 30분간 가열하고 식힌 다음 유리봉으로 내벽을 긁을 때 결정을 석출한다. 결정을 취하여 이를 열탕 10mL에 녹이고 활성탄 소량을 가하여 잘 흔들어 섞어 여과한다. 식힌 다음 유리봉으로 내벽을 긁어 생긴 결정을 건조하여 융점을 측정 할 때, 그 융점은 196～202℃(분해)이어야 한다.

  (4) 이 품목 2.5g을 물에 녹여 25mL로 하여 즉시 그 선광도를 측정할 때, ＝+60～+67°이다.

정량법

  이 품목을 건조한 다음 약 0.3g을 정밀히 달아 0.1N 수산화나트륨용액 30mL에 녹이고 20분간 방치한 다음 0.1N 황산으로 과잉의 알칼리를 적정한다(지시약 : 페놀프탈레인시액 3방울).

강열잔류물

  이 품목의 강열잔류물은 0.1% 이하이어야 한다.

개요

Glucono delta-lactone (C6H10O6), molecular weight 178.14, is an inner ester of gluconic acid. Commonly named gluconolactone, other synonyms include D-gluconic acid delta-lactone, D-glucono- 1, 5-lactone, and D-delta-gluconolactone. Some of its earliest uses as a food ingredient were as a flavoring (e.g., sherbets) and to reduce fat absorption in doughnuts and cones. Glucono deltalactone tastes sweet initially and has a slightly acid-aftertaste.

Glucono delta-lactone is prepared commercially by the oxidation of glucose with bromine water.

일반 설명

Gluconolactone is a non-toxic component of the skin. It has anti-oxidant and free radical scavenging effects. Gluconolactone has antiaging and skin-firming properties. It acts as a?β-glucosidase inhibitor. Gluconolactone stimulates cellulase gene expression.

Safety Profile

Mutation data reported. When heated to decomposition it emits acrid smoke and irritating fumes.

Purification Methods

Crystallise Dglucono-lactone from ethylene glycol monomethyl ether and dry for 1hour at 110o. It can be freed from other sugars via a column of Celite and charcoal (750g of each, 90 x 7.5cm) which is washed with 0.01N formic acid until the pH of the wash is equal to that of the entering acid. The lactone is applied in H2O and eluted with 0.01N formic acid (7L), then eluted with 7.5% EtOH/0.01N formic acid (8L), then 15% EtOH/0.01N formic acid (8L) which removes pentose and isomaltose (the optical rotation of the eluates are used for sugar detection) and finally elution with aqueous formic acid provides glucolactone which is obtained by evaporating or freeze drying. Its solubility in H2O is 60% and 1% in EtOH. A solution in H2O is slightly acidic, and the lactone dissolves in an equivalent of aqueous NaOH to form sodium D-gluconate [527-07-1] M 218.1, m 2002 0 6o(dec), [ ] D 25 +12o (c 10, H2O), pK2 5 3.6.
