Description
Carmofur is a fluorinated pyrimidine and derivative of fluorouracil . It has anti-neoplastic activity and is commonly used as adjuvant therapy following resection for some forms of cancer. Recent studies have shown that carmofur is a potent inhibitor of acid ceramidase (IC50 = 29 nM), an enzyme that is over-expressed in some tumors.More related product prices
