Yield:92-52-4 98%

Reaction Conditions:

with 1,2-bisperfluorotolyl-3,3,4,4,5,5-hexafluorocyclopentene in tetrahydrofuran at 25; for 1 h;Inert atmosphere;

Steps:

4 Homocoupling reaction using 1,2-bis(heptafluorotolyl)-3,3,4,4,5,5-hexafluorocyclopentene

General procedure: Under an argon atmosphere, 78.3 mg (0.129 mmol) of 1,2-bis (heptafluorotolyl) -3,3,4,4,5,5-hexafluorocyclopentene and tetrahydrofuran 0 , And the mixture was thoroughly stirred until 1,2-bis (heptafluorotolyl) -3,3,4,4,5,5-hexafluorocyclopentene was completely dissolved. 0.5 mL (0.515 mmol) of a phenylmagnesium bromide / tetrahydrofuran solution having a concentration of 1.03 mol / L was added thereto, and the reaction was carried out at 25 ° C. for 1 hour. After completion of the reaction, the reaction mixture was quenched by adding saturated aqueous ammonium chloride solution and extraction was carried out with ethyl acetate (3 mL × 6 times). The ethyl acetate layer was separated, dried over anhydrous sodium sulfate, and then concentrated under reduced pressure by a rotary evaporator. This concentrate was isolated and purified by silica gel chromatography (eluent: n-hexane) to obtain 39.3 mg (0.255 mmol) of 1,1'-biphenyl. The yield was 99%. The summary of Example 2 is shown in table 1
