3-Isocyanopropyltrimethoxysilane is a silane with isocyanate functional groups. This product is used as a crosslinking agent and adhesion promoter in adhesives and sealants. It can adhere to a wide variety of substrates, both common and uncommon; it exhibits excellent wet adhesion properties on glass, metals, and other inorganic substrates; it also adheres well to difficult-to-adhere substrates, such as nylon and other plastic products. It hydrolyzes rapidly in the presence of atmospheric humidity and possesses very good thermal, chemical, and UV stability. |
