A phenyllithium solution was slowly added dropwise to 60 mL of tetramethoxysilane and reacted for 1 h at a temperature of 0–20 °C. The dropping rate of phenyllithium was controlled at 1.5–2 mL/min. Solid-liquid separation was then performed, and the filtrate was heated to 90–110 °C and distilled under reduced pressure to obtain 6.17 g (0.0312 mol) of a colorless or pale yellow transparent liquid, which was Trimethoxyphenylsilane. Gas chromatography analysis showed its purity to be 97%. |
