It may also be used in the synthesis of N-phenacylammonium salts [N-(α-benzoylbenzyl)-, N-(1-benzoylethyl)-, N-phenacyl-, pyrazinium, 3-bromoquinolinium, benzothiazolium, or p-cyanopyridinium hexafluoroantimonates].
