Description
SHZ-1 (326886-05-9) triggers cardiac mRNA and protein expression in a variety of embryonic and adult stem/progenitor cells including human mobilized peripheral blood mononuclear cells (M-PBMC).1?A lead compound for the discovery of drugs which promote myocardial repair/regeneration by activating cardiac differentiation in M-PBMC. Cell permeable.
Uses
2-[(5-Bromo-2-hydroxyphenyl)methylene]hydrazide Benzenesulfonic Acid, is a sulfonylhydrazone that activates cardiac differentiation, inducing the expression of early cardiac genes in mouse pluripotent and embryonic stem cells in vitro at low micromolar concentrations.
