Alkyne-ethyl-PEG1-t-Butyl ester Chemical Properties,Uses,Production
Description
Alkyne-ethyl-PEG1-t-Butyl ester has an alkyne group and a t-butyl protected carboxyl group. The alkyne reacts with azide compounds or biomolecules via copper catalyzed Click Chemistry to form a stable triazole linkage. Thecarboxyl group group can be deprotected under mild acidic conditions.
Uses
Alkyne-ethyl-PEG1-Boc is a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used in the synthesis of PROTACs[1]. Alkyne-ethyl-PEG1-Boc is a click chemistry reagent, it contains an Alkyne group and can undergo copper-catalyzed azide-alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAc) with molecules containing Azide groups.
