Bromo-PEG2-azide Chemical Properties,Uses,Production
Description
Bromo-PEG2-azide is a heterobifunctional crosslinking reagent.. The azide group can react with alkyne, BCN, DBCO via Click Chemistry. The bromide (Br) is a good leaving group for nucleophilic substitution.
Biological Activity
Bromo-PEG2-C2-azide is a non-degradable ADC linker for the synthesis of antibody drug conjugates (ADCs),it is also a PEG-based PROTAC linker that can be used for PROTAC synthesis.
in vitro
ADCs are comprised of an antibody to which is attached an ADC cytotoxin through an ADC linker.
PROTACs contain two different ligands connected by a linker; one is a ligand for an E3 ubiquitin ligase and the other is for the target protein. PROTACs exploit the intracellular ubiquitin-proteasome system to selectively degrade target proteins.
