N,N-Dipropyl-1-propanamine is incompatible with oxidizing agents . Neutralizes acids in exothermic reactions to form salts plus water. May be incompatible with isocyanates, halogenated organics, peroxides, phenols (acidic), epoxides, anhydrides, and acid halides. Flammable gaseous hydrogen may be generated in combination with strong reducing agents, such as hydrides.건강위험

Dry the amine with KOH and fractionally distil it. Also reflux it with toluene-p-sulfonyl chloride and with KOH, then fractionally distil it. The distillate, after additon of 2% phenyl isocyanate, was redistilled and the residue fractionally distilled from sodium. [Takahashi et al.
