Sulfamethoxine is one of the most powerful antifungal drugs in sulfamethoxine. It is a white or white crystalline powder, odorless, almost tasteless, and gradually dark in light. Can be used to inhibit most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Sulfamethoxine, also known as sulfamethoxine 6-methoxine, has a strong antibacterial effect, and also has a significant effect on cocci and toxoplasma gondii. Easy to absorb orally, low acetylation rate, not easy to produce crystal urine and hematuria, for the treatment of a variety of sensitive bacteria infection and avian cocciosis, swine toxoplasmosis, etc. It has the strongest effect on streptococcus, pneumococcus, Salmonella, Pasteurella, corynebacterium pyogenes, escherichia coli, and also has antibacterial effect on Staphylococcus, Proteus, bacillus anthracis, so it is widely used for respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract and urinary tract infection of livestock and poultry. However, it is more commonly used for emergency treatment of outbreaks of parasitic protozoa and cocciosis in poultry. It also has a high curative effect on swine toxoplasmosis. This product is a relatively new long-acting sulfonamides. Its antibacterial spectrum is similar to sulfadiazine, but its antibacterial effect and protective effect on animal infection are stronger than other sulfonamides.
