简介
红黴素（英文：Erythromycin）是一种大环内酯类的抗生素，可用于治疗呼吸道感染（英语：respiratory tract infections）、皮肤感染（英语：skin infections）、披衣菌感染（英语：chlamydia infections），以及梅毒。本品也可用于预防新生儿的B群链球菌感染（英语：Group B streptococcal infection）。红霉素可以用于改善胃轻瘫（英语：gastroparesis）的症状。本品可透过静脉注射或口服给药 。新生儿有时会给予含有红霉素的眼药水，以避免结膜炎（英语：neonatal conjunctivitis）。 常见副作用包含腹绞痛、呕吐，以及腹泻等。更严重者可能引发伪膜性结肠炎、肝脏疾病、长QT症，以及过敏反应。青霉素过敏者通常可安全服用本品。妊娠期间用药目前显示安全。一般认为哺乳期间用药为安全，但有研究显示，未满两周的新生儿若服用本品，或母体于哺乳期间用药，可能会增加罹患幽门狭窄（英语：pyloric stenosis）的风险。红霉素属于大环内酯类抗生素，会抑制细菌的蛋白质合成。 红霉素于1952年首次由红霉素放线菌（英语：Saccharopolyspora erythraea）中纯化出来。本品列名于世界卫生组织基本药物标准清单之中，为基础公卫体系必备药物之一。该药属于学名药，价格不贵。本品在发展中国家的每锭批发价约于 0.03 至 0.06 USD之间。
