Amino acid surfactants are a group of surfactants derived from amino acids and fatty acids. They have been trending surfactants to use in a wide range of personal care products for their complete biodegradability, high safeness, mildness, and non-irritation properties.

Applications
Sodium Lauroyl Sarcosinate is widely used as a primary or secondary anionic surfactant in toothpaste, facial cleansers, ultra-gentle shampoos, and baby bath bubble lotions. It has excellent foaming and cleaning ability in a wide pH range. However, it has low degreasing power, which makes it not over-lift the needful oil on the skin, hence leaving the skin a moist and non-tight feeling.
